(NASDAQ: EEFT), a leading provider of secure electronic financial transaction solutions, today announced a Euronet ATM Recharge agreement with Cesky Mobil a.s., a subsidiary of Canadian company Telesystem International Wireless (TIW), to deliver prepaid airtime in the Czech Republic. Cesky Mobil, which markets the OSKAR brand, is the third fastest growing mobile operator in Europe with more than one million customers since its launch in 1999.
Oskar users will enjoy the convenience of purchasing prepaid airtime and requesting payments for postpaid services at the Euronet-operated ATMs in the Czech Republic. By providing the payments through this electronic delivery channel, Cesky Mobil expands airtime distribution points for prepaid subscribers, while reducing its operating costs.
