Euronet Doubles Bankcard Acceptance on Czech ATMs with Addition of Europay/MasterCardBudapest, Hungary – Euronet Services Inc. (Nasdaq: EEFT) has doubled the number of bankcards that can be used on its ATM network in the Czech Republic through an agreement with GE Capital Bank.

The agreement enables Euronet’s 56 ATMs in the Czech Republic to accept cards bearing the Europay or MasterCard logos. Euronet ATMs in the Czech Republic also accept Visa-branded cards. To date, there are an estimated one million Europay/MasterCard cards and one million Visa cards issued in the Czech Republic.
