Euronet Worldwide Reaches Agreement to Provide ATMs for Saks Department Store Group BIRMINGHAM, AL and LEAWOOD, KS - February 5, 2001 - Euronet Worldwide (Nasdaq: EEFT), a leading provider of secure financial transaction solutions and retailer Saks Incorporated (NYSE: SKS) announced it has entered into an agreement to provide outsource services for automatic teller machines (ATMs) through Euronet Worldwide’s DASH Network.
Euronet will deploy ATMs for five Saks’ Department Store Group divisions consisting of Parisian (4 ATMs), Younkers (5 ATMs), Carson Pirie Scott (9 ATMs), Proffitt's and McRae's (6 ATMs) with store locations in Alabama, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana and Tennessee.
As part of its agreement with Saks, Euronet will coordinate all installations and provide transaction processing and settlement services.
