Euronet Services Signs Agreement With Germany’s Largest Internet Bank

Euronet Services Signs Agreement With Germany’s Largest Internet Bank Leawood, Kansas, USA, – The 535,000 accountholders of DiBa, Germany’s oldest and largest Internet bank, will be able to access free of charge the network of 370 ATMs in Germany currently serviced by Euronet Services Inc. (Nasdaq: EEFT), following an agreement between the two companies.

The agreement enables DiBa – which is 49 percent owned by ING – to increase its visibility across the German market by enlarging the scope and reach of its own network of 770 ATMs. The 370 ATMs serviced by Euronet are situated primarily in convenient retail locations and comprise the largest network of off-branch ATMs in Germany.

“DiBa is an innovative bank that relies on the Internet and ATMs, rather than branch offices, to connect with its customers,” noted Roger Heinz, Euronet’s Managing Director for Germany. “As ATM availability and convenience are key to this strategy, Euronet is pleased to help DiBa by providing another 370-plus customer touch points throughout Germany.”
